Against Nature – review in Terminal

In November 2020 the journal Terminal published a review of Against Nature by Dominique Dubois.

He says: “According to the author … our modern information systems are based on a triptych of individualism, positivism and the market economy. This philosophical triptych of a non-distanced rationalism acts fundamentally against nature, whether it is that of the biosphere or of human nature: through isolation and individuation of behavior, it transforms humanity into a collection of individuals locked in their digital bubble, cut off from their biosphere and their society. This trend is all the more worrying as our relations with the outside world are increasingly publicised through these information systems.” (Translation by Google)
