A resource perspective on E-waste: A global problem with local solutions?
With co-author Dr. Per Fors, in December 2020 David’s chapter “A resource perspective on E-waste: A global problem with local solutions?” appeared in the first of two ‘Jubilee’ books to be published by IFIP to celebrate its 60th anniversary. The book (published as green open access), is titled IFIP AICT 555 “Unimagined futures – ICT opportunities and challenges” and includes a range of commissioned pieces assessing the opportunities and challenges for ICTs at this juncture in the Federation’s long history.
David and Per’s chapter develops the Position Paper on E-Waste into a fuller academic piece on the issues and potential ways forward for turning the growing problem of E-Waste into an opportunity.
