IFIP TC9 Chair

At the meeting of Technical Committee 9 today, in Turin, Italy, David was elected as the forthcoming Chair, to take up the role on 1st January 2018.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for David to engage with the ICT and Society community worldwide, represent their interests at the top of IFIP, and help support the work of a wide range of academics and practitioners.

Linking positivism, individualism, and market-fundamentalist economics at the root of these systems, it critiques the philosophical ground of this triumvirate as fundamentally against nature.
