This was my 13th Festival (you can see a retrospective in the theatre area of this website<\/a> in the Arts Manager section). I spent most of the week working hard\u00a0enjoying the sunshine, until my job was largely over, the Festival had\u00a0begun proper, and the rain had started. It wasn’t too bad, to be\u00a0honest, to start with – indeed I kept saying to people, “it’s not as bad\u00a0as 98”, but on the Monday morning after the Festival, as we all were\u00a0packing up to go home, I was not saying that anymore.
