With Gothic Relief in 1989-90 I gained some of the most valuable experience I had yet had. The programs, leaflets and fliers included on this website were all written and designed by myself, in conjunction with the Director, Ean D’Albion.
I was also Treasurer, general administrator, co-producer, and lead actor. Jackie Slade, who went on to great things with the Glastonbury Festival, Stage Managed us.
Together we produced five shows under the Gothic banner, and several others as a ‘production company’ for other troupes of actors.
It was during this time that I first encountered computers – an old Apple Mac classic owned and operated by Richard Oldfield spawned all my published material, though I still kept the books in a double-entry hardback!
