Theorizing Digital Experience: Four Aspects of the Infomaterial

In March 2021 David published a chapter in Nik Hassan and Leslie Willcocks’ book, Advancing Information Systems Theories.  This book, which grew out of the SIGPHIL in AIS, had been in preparation for some years, and it was in December 2018 in San Francisco at ICIS when Nik and David talked about a potential chapter.  This chapter, therefore, grew directly out of the Understanding Digital Events project, and uses data from that project to speak to the ideas of Varun Grover, presented to the SIGPHIL in San Francisco in 2018.
